Assistant Golf Professional Jon Janik joined Tashua Knolls at the beginning of the 2003 season. A graduate from Fairfield University, Jon's golf career began early and is already off to a strong start. He is the 2002 Men's Club Club Champion from Fairchild Wheeler Golf Club, as well as their 1997 Junior Club Champ. Jon passed his PGA Playing Ability test on his first attempt. The test was administered in April 2003 at Mill River Country Club, but the cold and wind didn't seem to bother Jon. Prior to joining Tashua, Jon spent three seasons as an instructor at the Ivan Lendl Golf School. A 1998 graduate of Trumbull's St. Joseph's High School, Jon is very familiar with both the course and the town.      [ Return to Staff Page ]
